Why is it different?
- The vintage Persian pattern rug is made from 70% recycled PET – the proportion increases annually, with the goal being 100%. A QR code printed on the back allows it to be returned to the factory for recycling.
- It consists of a single material, so it can be fully recycled at the end of its life – most rugs cannot claim this.
Material & feel
The ECO RUG SALT & PEPPER is made from 100% polyester, 70% of which is recycled PET. It has a flat, kilim weave – 3 mm thick. Machine washable at 30°C. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Equipped with a PES anti-slip backing – a separate anti-slip underlay is recommended for heavy use. OEKO-TEX® and GRS certified. Belgian made.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really machine washable?
Yes – it can be washed at 30°C, the colour is durable and does not fade.
Is the faded effect due to wear and tear?
No – it is a deliberate design choice. The rug looks this way even when new, and retains this appearance after washing.
Is it compatible with underfloor heating?
Yes – the flat weave and material work well with underfloor heating.

We ship our products from our warehouse in Budapest or from our foreign partner.
If your order arrives from our Budapest warehouse, you will usually receive it within 1-3 business days.
If the package comes from our foreign warehouse, the delivery time is usually 7-9 business days.
We always indicate the expected delivery time on the product page so you know exactly what to expect.
2. What if I don't like what I ordered?
No problem! You can return the product within 14 days .

The products offered by smol.hu are carefully selected and come exclusively from reliable European partners - mainly from Belgium, the Netherlands and Latvia .

Yes, for orders over HUF 29,999, shipping is completely free within Hungary.
