What makes it different?

• Made from 70% recycled PET, with the proportion increasing each year. A QR code printed on the back lets you send it back to the factory for recycling.

Material & feel

The ECO RUG MERCURY is made from 100% polyester, 70% of which is recycled PET. It has a flat kilim weave and is 3 mm thick. Machine washable at 30°C. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Finished with a PES non-slip backing – a separate non-slip underlay is recommended for heavy use. OEKO-TEX® and GRS certified. Made in Belgium.

Why was Mercury chosen as the inspiration for the pattern?
Mercury orbits closest to the Sun, and its surface is sun-scorched and covered in craters – the rug’s warm yellow tone captures this heat and rugged texture.

Can it be used outdoors too?
Yes – it is made from UV-resistant material, so it won’t fade in the sunlight when used outdoors.

How should it be cleaned?
Machine washable at 30°C. For stains, it can also be treated with mild detergent and cold water, then left to dry flat.
