Candle Holder – Smoky Green Glass Cube | GEM BLOCKS

The atmosphere of an interior often hinges on small, distinctive details, and the Candle Holder – Smoky Green Glass Cube | GEM BLOCKS is exactly the accessory that gives a composition weight. When you hold this 5-centimeter-wide and 5.5-centimeter-tall object, you’ll immediately feel the substantial, reassuring heft of genuine recycled glass. This is no mass-produced item: during manufacturing, the raw material was given a new life, so each cube was born in China from the meeting of sustainable thinking and precise, modern craftsmanship. The distinctive quality of the Green Smoke shade is that it changes its appearance depending on the light. In strong daylight, it looks like a brighter, more translucent emerald, while by candlelight it shifts to a deep, mysterious forest green, making the flame resting in the recess at the center of the cube stand out even more.

Where does it work well?

Place it on the corner of your desk, where its geometric shape helps you focus while the green hue soothes tired eyes. On a bathroom shelf beside a white ceramic dish, it creates a true spa-like feel through the contrast of cool and warm textures. It also looks wonderful on a bedside table, where the morning sunlight will be the first to cast fascinating reflections through it. If you buy several, line them up down the center of the dining table to create a modern row of glass lights. Finally, try it on a bookshelf, in front of heavy art books: the depth of the dark green glass adds elegance nestled among paper and wood.

Why you’ll love it

Its stability is one of its greatest strengths. Thanks to its solid glass body and wide base, it’s highly unlikely to tip over accidentally, making the use of an open flame in your home safer. It’s also a breeze to clean: once cooled, dripped wax can easily be popped off the solid surface in one firm motion, without leaving stains or scratches. Despite its precisely finished edges, the surface is silky smooth, direct proof of its high-quality manufacturing.

Feel and Appearance

The surface feels cool and substantial to the touch, and it’s surprisingly weighty for its size. Turn it toward the light and you’ll see the tiny, natural refractions inside the glass, which bring the smoky color to life. Balancing between matte and glossy, the body doesn’t collect fingerprints, so it always looks its best.

Frequently Asked Questions

• How do I keep the glass clean? Simply wipe away dust with a soft microfiber cloth. If wax gets on it, wait until it has hardened completely, then remove it carefully; don’t use an abrasive scrubber, so you can preserve the reflective surface.

• What size candle fits in it? The top recess accommodates both traditional, thinner taper candles and standard-sized tealights, while the depth of the socket holds the wick securely in place.

• How fragile is it? Although it’s made of thick-walled recycled glass, it should be protected from drops. However, its dense material structure makes it highly resistant to everyday knocks.
