Why is it different?
- The body, which widens from a conical top into a convex shape, creates the distinctive "hoola" movement, not a typical, uniform shade.
- Each piece is slightly different: the color and texture are handmade from natural materials, making each one unique.
Material & feel
The ABACA HOOLA is made from natural abaca fiber, handcrafted in Indonesia. Its dimensions are 50 cm width × 50 cm depth × 50 cm height. It comes without a cord and can be fitted with a standard E27 socket. To achieve the full, lush shape, the fibers need to be gently molded by steaming or by hand – this is part of the normal setup. It can be cleaned with a soft cloth or brush, and should be kept away from direct heat and prolonged sunlight.

No – you need to choose a standard E27 socket for it.
Why does it need to be shaped upon arrival?
It may be compressed due to shipping; it can be easily reshaped by steaming or by hand.
Can it be used on a covered terrace?
No – it is designed exclusively for indoor use and is sensitive to moisture.

If your order arrives from our Budapest warehouse, you will usually receive it within 1-3 business days.
