Outdoor bean bag chair for kids, blue | AZURE

Where does it work well?

• On the garden lawn or beside the sandbox – a stable, shapeable seat for magical afternoons.
• On the patio, as a little spot of their own – kids can sit comfortably while reading or drawing.
• By the pool – its chlorine-resistant material means they can sit on it even in a wet swimsuit.
• On holiday, on an apartment balcony – it compresses easily and takes up little space when travelling.
• For garden parties or setting up a kids’ zone – arrange several side by side to give children their own cozy nook.
• While camping or at a garden party, around the campfire in the evening – a comfortable, warm seat even at dusk.

What makes it different?

• The bean bag adapts to every position, so kids can sit, recline or sit cross-legged comfortably in it, unlike a traditional rigid chair.
• Thanks to its double-shell design, the polystyrene beads do not absorb moisture, so the bean bag won’t become heavy or lose its resilience even if it occasionally gets rained on outdoors.

Material & feel

The exterior of the HERBA bean bag chair is made from 100% Olefin, which is naturally stain- and mildew-resistant, UV-resistant (with long-lasting color confirmed by a 1,200-hour test) and chlorine-resistant, making it safe to use by the pool. Its inner shell is made from 100% polyester with a waterproof finish, protecting the 100% expanded polystyrene filling from moisture. Both layers are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified, meaning they are verified to be free of substances harmful to children’s health. It measures 80 cm long × 70 cm wide × 50 cm high – a recommended size for children aged 3–9. Cleaning is easy: wipe with a damp cloth and lukewarm water; for tougher stains, rub gently in the direction of the weave. Do not machine wash or soak. In prolonged rain or when away for an extended period, it’s best to move it to a covered area or indoors.

Frequently asked questions

How does this bean bag chair hold its shape?
The 100% expanded polystyrene filling flexibly conforms to the body, while the waterproof inner shell protects it from moisture, helping the bean bag retain its comfort and shape over time.

Can it be left outside overnight or for an extended period?
For short periods, yes, as the outer material is water-repellent and UV-resistant. However, if left outdoors for a long time, especially during rainy weather, it’s best to move it to a covered area or indoors to preserve its color and condition.

How can it be cleaned if it gets sandy or muddy?
Thanks to the Cleanboo+ protective layer, most dirt can simply be wiped off with a damp cloth and lukewarm water. For tougher stains, rub gently in the direction of the weave; however, machine washing and soaking are not recommended.
