Researchers at the University of California have discovered a hue that no one has seen before . The researchers report a new , vibrant blue - green color called “ olo . ” Z olo is more vibrant than any color you can see in real life .
The color " olo" - scientific breakthrough or sound marketing?
Some people think it's a revolutionary discovery, others see it as a spectacular PR stunt . One thing is for sure: the interior design profession is already trying to figure out how to weave this almost non- existent color into home decor.
Since “ olo” can only be detected with special optical intervention , it’s unlikely to become a trendy wall paint anytime soon . But the closest colors to it – neon , green- tinged turquoises – have already crept back into the design palette.
